Airflow has been at the forefront of ecological ventilation technology for more than 50 years. On display will be the high efficiency DUPLEXVENT range of ventilation with heat recovery units suitable for small dwellings (SAP Q Eligible) and the NEW FLEXI range for public and commercial buildings (BREEM applicable).
Mindful of increasing the effectiveness of installation issues, such as noise and hygiene, the AIRFLEX PRO ducting system provides a unique method of improving the indoor atmosphere by virtually eliminating the build up of potentially harmful dust within air ducts while delivering warm,fresh,filtered air within the dwelling.
Also on display will be the NEW Loovent eco range of low energy extractor fans with dual intermittant and continuous ventilation functionality designed to ventilate the increasingly well sealed home.
The New Loovent Eco
The new Loovent Eco is the latest version of the million selling Loovent, features a two speed, dual function fan for continuous ventilation or intermittent extraction, either of which can be selected during installation. With both portrait and landscape mounting, to reduce the need to make good once fitted, the fan can be ducted and is designed to meet the requirements of SAP Appendix Q making the Loovent Eco range a worthy addition to Airflow’s offering. With a specific fan power of just 0.3 w/l/sec, significantly less than the 0.5 w/l/sec for intermittent flow required by the 2010 Building Regulations, and a low energy DC motor, long term reliability with minimal maintenance is assured. Loovent Eco also features continuous ventilation operation. At the time of installation, a constant flow of either 8 l/sec suitable for toilets and bathrooms or 13 l/sec, suitable for kitchens may be set to meet a whole house decentralised continuous ventilation strategy (D-MEV) for dwellings with a low air infiltration rate.
