Marmox is a family owned British company based in Kent. Established in 2000, it is now a leading force within the sustainable building products sector.
The company boasts a culmination of over 50 years experience within the construction industry amongst its key staff.
Main products include the Marmox Board, which is used to insulate and waterproof bathrooms and wetrooms. The multipurpose boards are also used for dry lining walls and with underfloor heating systems. Other products include various Showertrays (Showerlays, Showerstones) and thermal blocks (Thermoblocks), designed to 'stop' thermal bridging.
The company is continually developing and expanding its range of high quality, energy efficient building products.
Products are sold to distributors and stockists who service both the retail and trade building industries throughout the UK.
Marmox Thermoblock
Marmox Thermoblocks are high insulated, load-bearing, XPS building blocks designed to replace the course of bricks or blocks at the bottom of a wall. They practically eliminate the thermal bridge at this point and retain significant heat within the building structure. Marmox Thermoblocks are lightweight, highly insulating and amazingly strong. They can support a construction of at least two storeys making them truly unique as there is no other insulated block on the market that has such strength!
