ACO manufacture drainage and water management solutions for every application including Internal and Building Drainage, Landscaping, Retail, Distribution centres, Highways and Airports. Its product portfolio consists of traditional channel and grate assemblies, monocast and high capacity drainage systems, oil separators, attenuation and infilitration system, domestic rainwater harvesting systems as well as solutions for environmentally sensitive projects.
ACO Rain-Ceptor
ACO Rain-Ceptor is a domestic rainwater harvesting system, allowing rainwater to be collected, stored and reused for applications that do not require potable quality water. Designed for either Direct Feed or Irrigation use, all ACO Rain-Ceptors have a robust, small footprint polyethylene chamber that is supplied with all necessary components – features that make the tanks easy to transport and handle, cost-effective to install with minimal excavation, and straightforward to commission and maintain. The six ACO Rain-Ceptor™ sizes provide between 1380 and 4120 litre storage capacity and fully comply with BS 8515:2009 Rainwater harvesting systems - Code of practice. They also meet the requirements of the revised Building Regulations Part G, and will assist developers and contractors satisfy both the water saving and the daily consumption targets defined within the Code for Sustainable Homes.
ACO StormTank
ACO StormTank offers the latest technology in stormwater infiltration and attenuation. The lightweight modular cell system is designed for use in a variety of applications including distribution parks, car parks, commercial and residential developments. ACO StormTank has been tested in accordance with CIRIA guidelines and is suitable for use in landscaped and vehicular trafficked areas. Manufactured from recyclable plastic, the lightweight material makes ACO StormTank easy to handle and quick to install. Each cell has a 97% void ratio reducing the cost associated with excavation and aggregates compared with traditional gravel based solutions.
ACO HexDrain Brickslot
ACO HexDrain Brickslot provides a discreet slot drainage system for domestic block paving installation and threshold drainage. Manufactured from 100% recycled polypropylene, the highly successful 1m ACO HexDrain channel has been combined with a new off-set slot cover specifically designed for slab and block paving, to create ACO HexDrain Brickslot.
ACO GroundGuard
ACO GroundGuard is a lightweight ground reinforcement system ideal for grass or gravel stabilisation. This type of surface helps to reduce the risks of potholes, rutting or grass damage. Manufactured from 100% recycled polyethylene, the system is exceptionally lightweight and strong, making installation quick and easy. ACO GroundGuard is suitable for a wide range of applications including paths, drives, parking areas and access routes. Correctly fitted, ACO GroundGuard has been certified to 250 tonnes per square metre, more than enough for almost any application.
ACO MultiDrain
ACO MultiDrain MD is a high strength channel drainage system designed to provide an economical solution for the efficient removal of surface water. The system is suitable for use in a wide range of applications including commercial and residential developments, pedestrian precincts, landscaping and parking areas for all vehicle types. The ACO MultiDrain MD system is available in three widths, 100mm, 150mm and 200mm and has both sloping and constant depths channels. The channel unit is manufactured from Vienite, ACO’s high strength polymer concrete and forms the main component of the system.
ACO KerbDrain
ACO KerbDrain is an award winning combined kerb and drainage system specifically designed and developed to form an integral part of any modern, sustainable surface water management solution. It is the first combined kerb drainage system of its kind to use recycled materials and be independently certfied and Kitemarked to BS EN 1433: 2002. The one-piece system is suitable for a wide range of applications including major and minor highways, car parks, and commercial and urban landscaping. ACO KerbDrain provides many versatile solutions for both SUDS schemes and traditional drainage systems. Engineers and designers are able to combine the benefits of both “hard” and “soft” SUDS to achieve the key elements of quality, quantity and amenity.
ACO Q-Brake Vortex
ACO Q-Brake Vortex is a vertical vortex flow control designed to regulate stormwater flow before it discharges into watercourses or sewer networks. Unlike more conventional methods e.g. orifice plates or sized pipework, ACO Q-Brake Vortex is less prone to blockage and permits higher flow at a lower head of water, as a vortex flow control allows an outlet orifice 4-6 times larger in crosssectional area to be used. ACO Q-Brake Vortex has clear openings larger than traditional methods of flow control, which makes the system less prone to blockage. The absence of any loose parts also reduces maintenance requirements.
ACO Q-Ceptor
ACO Q-Ceptor oil separators are an innovative range of bypass and full retention separators. These high performance systems are fully compliant with BS EN 858:2002 parts 1 & 2 and exceed the requirements of the Environment Agency’s PPG 3 guidelines. ACO Q-Ceptors are available in a range of chamber sizes and flow rates ideal for use in car parks, maintenance areas, and industrial and residential applications. Manufactured from polyethylene, the innovative single chamber design of the ACO Q-Ceptor is extremely compact and robust offering significant advantages in installation and handling costs over traditional GRP products. ACO Q-Ceptors are available in two performance classes as specified by BS EN 858-1:2002. Both Class 1 and Class 2 ACO Q-Ceptors are available as bypass or full retention separators.
ACO Qmax
ACO Qmax is a high capacity recycled MDPE slot drainage system suitable for a wide range of applications involving small to large catchment areas to any load class. The system is specifically designed to form an integral part of any modern, sustainable surface water management solution requiring effective storage, attenuation and eliminating carry over in stormwater conditions. The ACO Qmax system is available in 225, 350, 550, 700 and 900 sizes ensuring greater system flexibility for engineers and designers to optimize scheme hydraulics. A choice of edge rail designs in either ductile iron or galvanised steel the ACO Qmax system can be tailored for use in each application, pavement design or aesthetic requirement. The ACO Qmax range is CE marked and certified to BS EN 1433:2002 and can support all Load Classes up to and including F 900.
