SIP Energy Limited, is a leading edge, BRE-accredited manufacturer of Structural Insulated Panel Systems (widely known as SIP's).
SIP Energy's unique product offering is a combination of materials, manufacturing and installation capabilities.
SIP Energy manufacture large-format fully-bonded laminated panels, for wall or roof use in sizes up to 13m in length, as a single piece. This unique capability delivers industry-leading airtightness values, as well as unmatched accuracy. By using large-format panels laminated as a single unit, good airtightness values can be achieved WITHOUT membranes. This is as a result of the homogenous nature of the panel, as well as the drastic reduction in the number of mechanical joints in the external envelope.
Based on using DOW XPS insulation, in a number of thickness', coupled with quality 15mm thick OSB3 skins, SIP Energy's SIP panels also deliver very high strength capabilites, coupled with add-on benefits such as good acoustic performance, and secure surfaces for the fixing and attachment of follow-on trade finishes and joinery.
SIP Energy panels are manufactured in a purpose-built factory, using the most modern technology, to ensure quality and consistency, from foundation to roof level, of your proposed build.
SIP Energy panels are suitable for use as:
- Wall and Roof systems for homes, offices, schools, nursing homes
- for infill or cladding - for walls or roof - on systems such as Light Gauge Steel, Steel or Concrete Portal Frame, ICF and many others.

Design freedom....
....showing curved wall sections (through faceting of panels), large overhangs (with internal structure, where required), allow for creative freedom to deliver that special finishing touch
DSC00139 shapes
...shows how SIP structures perform well through homogeneity of wall and roof system. Highly accurate, highly insulated and airtight connections make high performance a 'given' in your build.
DSC51 Complex shapes...
This image, taken on the first day of panel assembly on site, shows how even with complicated shapes and features (pocket for beams, services, joist hangers pre-fitted), that building erection is fast and accurate.
SL3 Typical panel
Typical SIP panel being craned into position. Clearly visible is the machined window ope, the Tyvek breather membrane, and flooring joist hangers pre-fitted
SW10 SIP Compartment / Party Wall section
Section through SIP Party / Compartment wall
SW-7 Wall section w/services
Section through standard wall panel, for internal or external wall use, showing optional service conduits for electric services
SW-0 Cross Section
Typical cross section for a domestic dwelling, showing the details which deliver all-round high performance: - Continuous wall & roof envelope, ensuring consistency of performance and delivering high airtightness performance - Joist and flooring system between walls, eliminating rimboards and all the attendant insulation, bridging and airtightness issues, making high performance easier to achieve - Large format panels allow for easy room-in-roof build or conversion of the building, later.
