Yard Operator

From tipping lorries to inspecting Scrap metal you’ll cover all jobs in the Scrap Yard. It won’t be a boring day, you’ll also operate the weighbridge accurately and complete maintenance checks. Health and safety will be your number one priority in everything that you do, not only for yourself but also for the rest of the team. You’ll have experience working in a Yard or a similar environment. It’ll be great if you have knowledge of Scrap metal but what’s important is that you’re keen to learn and have the ability to pick up new skills. There will be days when you will have to operate/drive machinery like excavators and fork lifts so you’ll need to have experience in this, too.
