Buildings in use

Buildings in use

Improving the energy efficiency of the existing stock presents one of our biggest challenges.  This stream focuses on non domestic property, and is directed at property owners, investors, and occupiers, who want to better understand how to reduce the running costs of buildings whilst reducing carbon emissions. It puts the issue of property and sustainability into a financial and business context.

Sessions examine a wide range of issues, including: the value of low carbon buildings and ROI; how to improve energy efficiency through quick and simple measures, capital investments and behavioural change; overcoming the barriers to landlord and tenant relationships; energy management strategies and the need for clear business objectives which embrace sustainability as a central theme.

All sessions will take place in North Gallery 13
