Features Editor, Building Design, architecture critic and designer
Oliver Wainwright is currently the Features Editor of Building Design magazine. He has written extensively on architecture and design for a number of international publications, including Icon, Frieze and the Architect’s Journal, as well as the Times and Guardian newspapers. He has also collaborated on projects with the Architecture Foundation in London and National Building Museum in Washington, DC.
He trained in architecture at Cambridge and the Royal College of Art, and has since worked across a range of scales and contexts, from urban strategies at Design for London, to international competitions at the Office for Metropolitan Architecture in Rotterdam and public realm design at muf. He is also a founding director of Studio Superniche and visiting critic at several architecture schools.
