2017 Highlights

Over 20,000 forward-thinking industry professionals flooded Ecobuild 2017 to explore the latest innovations from more than 450 leading exhibitors, join the Redefining Sustainability debate and discuss the key issues currently facing the built environment.

Taking on an immersive city-scape format to reflect the show’s overarching theme of Regeneration, Ecobuild 2017 featured a series of ‘districts’ – each with dedicated seminar programmes – covering key topics, including green infrastructure, offsite construction and the circular economy.


It was impossible to fit everything into the Ecobuild 2017 highlights video,, so here are some of our favourites! The show was packed with debate, opinion, networking, product launches and innovation from 450 exhibitors and 300+ speakers.

Ecobuild 2017 Conference - The industry's stage for debate and leadership

Ecobuild 2017’s theme was Regeneration, with 15+ sessions showcasing sustainability, the ideas driving growth, innovation, collaboration and economic advantage for a more sustainable future.


The Campus

The newest design innovations and technical processes were shown off at The Campus during Ecobuild 2017. Immersive architecture, the latest materials, technologies and methods that are winning awards were heavily focussed on. 



City Hall

The latest ideas, practices and learning that are redefining sustainability were explored at the City Hall. as was the how the new circular economy is reducing material waste and promoting sustainability for commercial benefit and social wellbeing.



Clients, architects and engineers must work closer together to deliver infrastructures that revitalise communities. This was discussed in detail at Ecobuild 2017.

Big Innovation Pitch Returns!

Ecobuild, in association with Marks & Spencer (M&S) have announced the five finalists of this year’s Big Innovation Pitch. The latest retail engineering innovations, which range from heating and cooling systems to simulation software, will battle it out for the top spot at Ecobuild 2017.

The Concrete and Masonry Pavilion provides visitors with access to industry leading manufacturers, solution providers and industry bodies. The Pavilion exhibitors provide a wealth of expert advice, latest product information and practical guidance showing the many ways in which designers can use concrete and masonry construction to deliver a sustainable built environment.
