Part of the 2018 futurebuild districts…

Exploring options for driving energy efficiency, using established as well as emerging technologies.

The government’s Clean Growth Strategy is putting a renewed focus on decarbonisation of energy and heat, and improved energy efficiency. This district’s seminar programme guided visitors through the latest policy developments, likely delivery mechanisms and established and emerging technologies, from solar to electric vehicles. The accompanying exhibition was packed with potential solutions, from such names as Innasol, Bauder, SVH Energie and Propelair. Alongside the exhibitors, government backed agency Innovate UK gave an insight into research initiatives shaping tomorrow’s technologies in its Natural to Neural Pavilion.
