Research Fellow, Institute of Climate and Atmospheric Science, University of Leeds
Cat is a Research Fellow in the Institute for Climate and Atmospheric Science, part of the School of Earth and Environment at the University of Leeds. Her research involves understanding the sources and sinks of pollution in our air, and the interactions this pollution has with natural parts of our environment. Cat coordinates the Leeds Ecosystem, Atmosphere and Forest (LEAF) Centre at the University of Leeds which aims to bring together academics from a diverse range of disciplines, and link them with the end users of their research. Cat works closely with the United Bank of Carbon and Leeds City Council on a number of projects to better understand the role of trees and green spaces in the city.
