Liz Male has spent her career focused on making the built environment better known, better understood and better loved. She has almost 30 years’ experience of promoting the building industry and its expertise, and runs an award-winning PR and marketing consultancy that works across all parts of construction.
Liz is also the former chairman of TrustMark, the Government-backed scheme that helps homeowners find reputable firms to repair, maintain and improve their homes. She was appointed MBE in the 2015 New Year’s Honours for services to construction and consumer protection.
Liz has a particular interest in energy efficiency and green building techniques. She is currently a member of the Implementation Board of the ‘Every Home Counts’ review, an independent review of consumer advice, protection, standards and enforcement for energy efficiency and renewable energy, and also serves as a Trustee of the National Energy Foundation which gives people, organisations and government the knowledge, support and inspiration they need to understand and improve the use of energy in buildings.
