Richard Crosby, Director, Seismic Group
Richard is recognised as an industry leading evangelist for production led construction process techniques, over the last 9 years he has instigated and led the pioneering an industry changing project to develop a physical product platform for the construction industry. The Seismic Platform is the exemplar case study in the government’s Product Platform Rulebook and the only platform that achieves all eight requirements of a true product platform. Richard has set up The Seismic Group Ltd to make the platform available to the whole industry and to use it to facilitate industry wide collaboration with a view to improving the production of buildings. The Seismic Platform is already being used to build education and residential buildings for clients that want to use MMC but don’t want the risk of being limited to one supplier. Richard has advised government departments on Modern Methods of construction. He is also a director of the Off site Alliance promoting MMC / DFMA across all sectors.
